Blog 10 - Big Moves, Continued
Hi all, this last week I've been hard at work on the next video that'll be coming out on the 29th. I'm excited to show a practical use of my Modular Modifiers system. I don't have a ton of time to get into it, nor is there a lot to share that isn't going to just be the next video, so instead I'd like to talk about this week and things to come!
The Week to Come
Firstly, as I mentioned in a prior Blog Post, I'm moving this week. Because of this I'll have less to discuss than normal. However, once my wife and I get settled in our new home my process will become much more streamlined. This is because I'll be upgrading to a much better studio space!
As of right now I've been working out of a walk in closet. Or should I say the closet. It's the only closet space in our apartment and it's served me well over the last couple of years. But, I really like using a green screen to create my own brand of graphics, and that sadly cannot be done in a closet. Every time I want to record something that isn't just a voice over or a demo at my desk I have to fully tear apart our living room... which can take a couple hours depending on the day and the lighting situation. I know that sounds like a lot, but without getting too into it, it's a lot.
Fortunately we were able to find a slightly larger place where I can have a full bedroom for my office! This means I can permanently setup the green screen, better sound proof the space, and make several other changes that improve our quality of life and help me to be more efficient in all aspects of my work!
What this means for YOU
Going forward I'll really be able to smooth out my process and get more done! This means more content here on Patreon, a more consistent upload schedule, and other things I can't really talk about just yet!
Most importantly, it means I can finally get back to the All The Nodes series! I haven't forgotten about those, they just take a lot of time to research and produce. With the new space several snags in the process will be eliminated, allowing for better planning and production.
I'm really excited for this next step, and there are more good things to come! That's it for this week, so stay tuned and I hope to see you in the next one!
